Let’s look at one outlet, Audio 88 situated at third level unit #03-43 THE ADELPHI. They carry the ever-popular Audio Space tube preamplifiers, tube power amplifiers, tube-integrated amplifiers and tube compact disc players. Now Audio Space has a new entry-level mini-monitor two-way loudspeakers called the ASP-1. An elegant design that at a glance reminds me of the THIEL PCS loudspeaker system but at an entry price range, it sure looks value for money. The Audio Space ASP-1 Loudspeaker comes with WBT speaker cables binding post at the rear. The finish is brilliant for a loudspeaker selling at this entry-level price range. There is another new baby from the Audio Space people. The Audio Space 300B integrated amplifier, which can double up as a preamplifier, or a 300B power amplifier. Well, I don’t have to tell you how it sounds. This is just the beginning of what is new at Audio 88. They have a new high-end loudspeaker system called the SILVER LINE too. The SILVERLINE SONATA MK2 Loudspeaker is making its debut in Singapore. Any Audiophile who is looking for a high-end loudspeaker system and want nothing of that fancy technological literature, will be impressed with the honest design that the Silver Line has to offer. The last of the four new equipment’s on display at Audio 88 is not the least but the best. MATISSE has a new preamp called the Fantasy Mk2. Just one look at it and you will know immediately why they called it the Fantasy Preamp. The MATISSE FANTASY PREAMP MK2 is one component you have to see real up close and audition it whether you are in the market for a preamplifier or not.
