Where to buy a good pair of speakers?

Hi there...would like to find out where can I get a good pair of main speakers and a pair of surround speakers...My budget is around $600.00

For $600 dollars, you cannot buy yourself a decent pair of speakers. With 600 dollars, buy yourself a pair of BOSE speakers.

For $300/-, you should be able to buy a very decent pair of entry-level speakers, eg. Mission/AE/KEF. For $600/-, I am sure you can get something good, of course not the hi-end kind of speakers. Mission 780/KEF Q35.2 (WHAT HIFI 5-STARS).
