I have heard of people modifying Aura amplifiers to perform better. I suppose every amplifier could be upgraded. I would like to know whether, in your opinion, it is worth the money. $100 to modify + $250 powercord (as quoted by a vendor). Thanks.

What can I do to improve the system further with a budget of about $200? Will trading in my integrated for a pre-power amplifier like Rotels provide something better?
