 Dear 1388 members,
Three of the more regularly discussed topics on this wonderful website has been CDP modifications, Joe's tweaks (five-cents, one-cent, stone, crystal, wood and what-nots) and a gathering among us fellow members. I thought I can do my bit by trying to consolidate these discussions in the form of a members' gathering. A consolidation because my humble system has had the benefit of both Dr. Jon Wong's modifications on the CDP as well as Master Joe's tweaks. What I'd like to get out of this is no more than pure fun for a couple of hours with people who share a similar hobby as myself. Of course, I also hope that someday, when and if this idea of a gathering gains pace, I will also be invited to listen to other's systems. So without further ado, here is the deal - actually no deal at all - due to space constraint (I like my guests to feel comfortable), I would like to invite 5 or 6 members to my place at Upper Bukit Timah on a Sunday afternoon to be arranged. I will of course also invite Joe and Jon to join us but they are busy people so I have no idea if they will be able to come. I will provide soft drinks and some tidbits. Please let me know by posting here your interest so that I can plan when I have the number. What I plan will not be a competition to see who got the better system (too stressful and mine is sure to lose) but just a group of people sitting down to enjoy music. Hope to hear from you guys (and gals) out there. |

No, Hong Wee it's still ok but after you, I do think I have as many as my humble abode will accomodate. So here's the team:- Naga, FM Chan, Selespeed, JC, Sangram and Hong Wee. There is of course myself and possibly Joe and Jon. Joe says he will try but Jon says he'll be there. Here's the detail :- 26th. November Sunday @ 1.30pm at my place. Now I am trying not to give the whole world my address and for this, can someone please tell me how to send only to those involved. I do not know how but if it is possible, please e-mail me for the address. If there is any change, I will of course keep all informed. I look forward to meeting all of you in a few weeks time. |
