Why not DIY your won cables

I used to budget up to 20% on cables but now I DIY my own and cables account for a mere 3% of my system. Surprisingly industrial or studio grade cables, which costs a fraction of the so called "audiophile" cables, are no losers to the overpriced "audiophile" cables. You can read how Belden cables were preferred in http://members.tripod.com/~tsc/.

I use Belden 1694A for video and have surplus stock of Belden 89207 and 8412 audio cables to sell. Apart from Belden, another good manufacturer is Mogami, which I am using myself.
