What amps do you used to drive your Maggies and found yourselfputting on a smile on your face? Pray tell, why you like this amplification?

You must be talking about Magnaplanar?

Use an amplifier that can deliver a lot and loads of current. Use a speaker cable that is not skinny because you need a water hose for the current to flow. This is because the Mags are very low impedance and draws large current. Try Krell or Cello! If you favour valve amp, try something that can throw out current, like mono blacks push pull with a few pairs of 6550?
