Centre Speaker New tricks

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

Hi, I am looking for a center speaker to match my Thiel CS 3.6, any recommendation other than Thiel speakers?

Hello Benji!

I cannot think of any speakers to match your Thiel.

However, would you dare to try this? Go and buy a pair of KEF Cresta 1. Let them lie down side by side with the tweeters in the middle, and then use them in parallel as the centre speaker!

As they are in parallel that means they do not need to be driven hard to produce the same sound pressure. That means they will sound very natural. They are already excellent sounding speakers! Also, the price is very reasonable.

This applies to all system.
