Video cable as digital cable?

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

I have a very good video cable which I purchased from Hi Fi Corner sometime ago. For some reason, I no longer watch LDs or DVDs and do not have any use for this cable. Can I use this cable as a digital cable from the CD player to the DAC?

I know which cable you are refering to, is it the Beldon cable?

I have tried it between my CD to DAC. Unfortunately, it is not outstanding. Even so, it does sound better than any cable below the S$150 price range. You can use it, but I am not sure what results it will give on your system.
