Optical or Coaxial

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

Would you tell me ,which is better either it is optical cables or coaxial cables when connecting between DVD or CD player to external DAC.

They used to call the optical link ‘Toss! link’! Really, you do not want to use the optical. It is too clinical and flat.
