Digital cables

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

My friend gave me a pair digital coaxial cable. He told me that costs him hundred over. I used it for audio connect form DVD to AVR. Does it make sense?

BTW, FYI, for those who want installment. I found out at Klaus Audio that if you are a Diner Club card holder, you are able to have a easy installment scheme at 1% interest a month.

Hello Kim!

Digital cables have impedance of 75 ohms instead of the 100 ohms of audio cables. So far I have not encountered any good results for using the digital cables for audio. Why not you use them for Video section? It should improve the picture quality.

Thank you very much for the information on Klaus Audio! What about those who do not have Diners card? Also, what is the percentage incurred by Diners? If the charges are low, then it is indeed a very good option! Thanks!
