Sub has no sound

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

Thank you for your replied to my enquries dated 22 . I had already e-mail to product agent but I am still waiting for their reply.

I had another problem to ask you, during I did my test signal test tone signal test, there is no noise can be hear from my subwoofer speaker, but there is no problem with the other 5 speakers. During playback mode, the LF sound can be heard from the sub. The conection of the sub was from the receiver sub output. The test tone was done in DTS, DD and Pro-logic mode.

Hello Jasmani,

Usually, the test tones produce only ONE frequency. I suppose it is around 1kHz single tone you used? Of course, your sub woofer will not react to such frequencies because the low pass filter has chopped off the high frequencies!. If you play a 80Hz test tone, then the sub would make some noticeable sound.
