Power cord recommendations

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

I'm in the mist of building up my system and is now looking for power chords. Does power cords need to match with my equipments?

I have read great reviews on JPS power cords namely the digital ac and the power ac. How would u commend on them? Do u have any power cords to recommend??

I'm also considering between kimber and YBA i/c and speaker cables. Any comment?

Hello Seni,

As you have not mentioned anything at all about your system, it is hard for me to start shooting into air.

Power cords can have a lot of effects on any system, provided the following conditions:

1. The mains suppy is not clean

2. The power cord has special geometry and materials to change the quality of the supply

A lot of retailers are now allowing you to try out the cable in your setup, either free or with a small fee. I suggest you first listen to the cables of your choice in the shop. Then you request to audition it in your house. If both times you like it, pay for it. If at any one time you do not like it, then forget about it.
