Clean skeaper cone

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

Can you advise how to remove mould or fungus stains on the cone of my speakers.

Will using water with detergent works?

Thanks.

Roy

Hello Roy,

I am not sure what is the material of your speaker cones. If they are paper, then water is 100% out.

Go to any of the Car Kiosk or Petrol station and buy this:

ARMOUR ALL PROTECTANT AND CLEANER

I had been using it for various type of speaker cones and they all look nice and lovely after been given the treament of Armour all. Some claim that after using Armour All on the speaker cone rubber suspension, the sound is even smoother and cleaner! Try it!
