Registration Problem and System Upgrade

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

I would like to join as a member. However, I tried registering through the webpage but failed. so i resort to manual emailing.

I also need some advice on my system. My system is as fololow:

N.E.W. P3 and A20.1, Sonus Faber Concerto Grand Piano,Cal Delta transport, Audio Alchemy V1.1 DAC. The sf gp bass sounds a bit muddy whenever I play jazz.

What do u think is the main problem? I suspect that A20.1 does not have enough power to drive the GP.

I m thinking of upgrading my amp and dac. in ur opinion, which should i upgrade first. please recommend what amp and dac. I recently heard the Diva M7 and Blue Sky Pro. I think they are of reasonable price. Are they worth getting?

I don’t seem to be able to find any reviews on them. I love the sound of tubes but find many good tube amp too expensive. Will they drive my GP?

Please kindly check your IE5 or Netscape configuration setting. For IE5:

1. Click on ‘TOOLS’

2. Click on ‘INTERNET OPTIONS’

3. Click on ‘PROGRAMS’ from the menu

4. Under the E-mail section, choos ‘Hotmail’ if you are using Hotmail. Otherwise, click on either ‘OUTLOOK’ or ‘OUTLOOK EXPRESS’ if you are using them!

5. You should be able to send e-mails from WEB page after the settings

My suggestion is you should upgrade your pre-amplifier first, for the most rewarding results. Use a tube pre-amp, of course. Diva preamp, although is locally made, sounds very good and impressive.

If you buy a tube power amplifier, you have to take into consideration how to keep them. Tube power amp needs care and love.

For the DAC, you can consider the 24bit 96Khz versions.
