Auric Illuminator for CD player

Dear Dr. Wong,

Can I use Auric illuminator to clean the CD lens of my CD player? Does it really make a difference as what one article in 1388 claims?

Hi Thomas,

I have tried cleaning the DVD lens on my laptop computer. To my surprise, the DVD looks better and tracks better.

I have also tried it on other CD players. It is confirmed that the sound is very much improved.

However, please be careful when you do this yourself. You must not scratch the lens, otherwise it will be very expensive to replace.
