Pioneer CD or CLD for upgrade

Dear Dr. Jon Wong,

I wish to send my Pioneer CD/LD player CLD770 for upgrading in both the analog and digital section.

Do you think the power supply portion can be upgraded as well? Say to toroidal transformer and better capacitor ......

How much do I need to spend on the above upgrading? How should I arrange with you and where should I bring it to?

Hello Darren,

Yes, please kindly contact Kim at 569 5711 for our address.

The charges for the Clock and Analog modification is a standard charge of S$300.

But after 1st Feb 2000, we will offer the clock modification fir S$200. The increase in price is due to using PCB, high grade components and OsCon caps. The performance of the clock is at 1ppm, it will greatly increase the definition and clarity of the players.

We will look into the power supply section. Very often, using expensice and big caps may not be the wise move for upgrade.
