DENON CD Upgrading Dear Dr. Jon Wong, I've a Denon(model:DCD-1880AR) CD player & thinking of improve/upgrade it's sound quality. I know that u are the expertise in this area, it will be great that if u can help me on this. Sorry for the very late reply. Your CD will be drastically improved using our new 1388 CD clock modification. It is available from the 1st week of Feb 2001 as a commercial product. The clock is very stable at 1ppm, it will make the Denon more musical and detailed. The cost for the upgrade (PCB version) is s$200. If you are in Malaysia, Millennium Audio is our agent. Note that they also do the Tricord upgrade, which is about M$1000. |
