Cigar Boxes with Lead

Hi,

Will there be any adverse effects if I were to place weights e.g. cigar boxes filled with lead on speakers, CD players and pre-amplifiers? Will there be any improvement to the sound?

This is in fact an ingenious method! It will not only improve the sound, it will improve your sound stage and layering.

Do you have a spare Cigar box to spare me?
