Dear Steve,

Sorry for the late reply, Steve. I was away for a few days. Anyway, I have cc this mail to our Doctor Jon Wong and see whether he could help. Normally we do not provide this kind of service...

He will reply you ...

Hello Steve,

If your player has two sets of 110 V winding, I can help you to rewire it to 230v. However, the better solution for you is goto Sim Lim Towers and buy a 110->230V step up transfomer. Buy something that is big. If your CD player consumes 30Watts, buy something that can provide 100VA or 200VA at least. Forget about those that are just 50VA rating.

The steup transformer will work well with CD players. There are many people deliberately setting the CD player to 110V, and then use a step up transformer to provide noise isolation. It is true that the CD will sound more quiet.
