Hi Jon,

I have the Thiel CS 3.6 speaker.

I need a couple of speaker stands for my floorstanding Thiel CS 3.6 to raise it 4-8 inches to bring it to the correct listening height in a carpeted room (requiring spikes on the stands).

Do you have any stand recommendations or any solutions?

Dear Alan,

I cannot think of any 4-8 inch tall stands in the market.

But if you go to some construction sites, you should be able to find stine slabs about 1-2 inch thich. If you buy a few from them (if you can), then try to get those solid slabs to elevate your speakers!
