| News from Europe - SACD Hi Jon, The Tonmeister pro Audio Show (Europe) was very interesting. Sony/Philips did their SACD road show and demonstrated some very good 6 channel SACD DSD recordings using the new Philps SACD player. It is very exciting that such a high level of audio quality will be available to the consumer. I think that SACD will be a major step forward in sound quality for the audiophile. EMI will release music on SACD and this is interesting as up till now EMI has been a strong backer of DVD-A. Please keep in touch. Best regards! |
