 | I am fortunate to have been amongst the first few to witness the powerful Cesar at work. The attributes of this wonderful device is not unlike the man himself, in fact, the first thing that popped up in my mind was how akin the sonic attributes were to the famous dictator - Julius Caesar. Power, charm and magnetism that draws you in will make the "Cesar" famous all by itself. Perfect name that one. |
| Now for the details of the Cesar's conquest of my system : As I am using a pair of monoblocs, I could only use it on my preamp unless I strike it rich and buy a couple more. The first thing that surprised me immensely is how enormous the dynamic swings the Cesar can bestow onto my music. "Fanfare for the Common Man" never sounded more real, the bass never as prodigious and the cymbals ring out with such alacrity it really is alarming. |

 | Background acoustics and ambience on Jazz in a Pawnshop were fleshed out and gives an enhanced sense of being there. Definition as expected from amber tweaks was as razor sharp as a master sword smith's greatest work. The special inner feeling given to Diana Krall were captured with sparkle and projects a ghostly experience that she really is singing in my room for me, appearing in a slinky dress with the look of love

Tried it atop a friend's Burmester power distributor and another's power amplifier and it gave the same stunning results! I myself have bought that very Cesar and 2 Pavane's (each atop Muse Model 8 transport and Two/96 DAC). And am currently saving up to buy a matched pair of Cesar for my monoblocs. |
| Seems like I may have to retract my statement of Pavane being the Tweak of The Decade? No! It may seem to be that the Cesar does more than the Pavane, but hey lo! Pavane simply outperforms it when emplaced on a CD transport or DAC. Likewise the Cesar beats the Pavane into silent submission when tried on my pre-amp. Both are winners in their own right, I'd say. I had the luck to try out 2 Cesar's on my monoblocs; I borrowed another one courtesy (or of evil intentions??) of Joe. Seems imminent that $798 will leave my pockets the very next moment they get in. |
Audiophiles with a weak heart and who have had no prior experience with amber tweaking, BEWARE & PLEASE put on your seat belts. |
|
| | The Cesar is highly likely to produce more good compared to your last multi-dollar equipment change. He came, he sat, he conquered. My system and of course my tender heart | | Try it not if love of music is not your care
